The Curtain’s Up Theater Company has completed its fourth year of existence!  The year was a very successful one.  In addition to its performances, the Board of Directors was successful in developing an organizational framework that will promote the continuance of the Curtain’s Up’s Theater Company and its ability to provide theatrical opportunities in the future!  While the year was also successful in terms of financial support, revenue generation will continue to be an important issue to create sustainability for the organization.  We welcome the participation of all into our organization.  Whether it is on stage, behind the scenes, or as part of our audience, there is a place for you in Community Theater!  The Board of Directors of the Curtain’s Up Theater Company thank you for your support and hopes to see you during the 2007 season!

"Wizard of Oz" Characters perform at St. John's Mercy Hospital "Primy" Reunion!

Dorothy was there.  So was the Tin Man and the Lion!.  Cast members from last summer's The Wizard of Oz were the main attraction at the St. John's Mercy Medical Center's NICU Reunion in Creve Coeur, MO.  Over 500 former patients attended the event along with their families.  These graduates were born pre-mature and overcame health risks and health problems through the help of the dedicated professionals and staff at St. John's NICU program.   Families had the chance to visit with staff members and other families, as well as play games in a carnival.  And, of course, they were wooed by the talented cast members of The Wizard of Oz.  A special thanks to Katie McGowan (Dorothy), Loren Fear (The Lion) and Jeremy Wilken (as the Tin Man) for dedicating a Sunday afternoon to these kids and their families!
